Estrahorn
Estrahorn is located near Hvalnes Nature Reserve Beach. It located around 50km northeast of Hofn.
It is an incredible mountain at the far South East of Iceland. Also, it is like ‘Vestrahorn”.
I loved this location further on from Vestrahorn. It is quiet and less crowd.

At night, it is a good place to capture the northern light. I had waited for some nights to get the clear sky.
It is less populated here, so there’s no need to worry about light pollution from flashlights.
However, trucks frequently pass by on the road, which can affect the light.

Walk carefully near the beach, you will find the spot to capture the wave.
I suggest to go there before 1 hour of sunset. The warm colour hit the wave is stunning.
